Application Guidelines for admission to master's programs at the Graduate School of Engineering Science of Yokohama National University in October 2026 and April 2027

Eligibility for Special admission (Master's programs at the Graduate School of Engineering Science of Yokohama National University in October 2026 and April 2027)
Applicants for Special admission must satisfy all of the following requirements.
①Those who are recommended by their home universities.
②Applicants who ranked in the top 1/3 in academic performance at their affiliated departments or their equivalents at the end of the third year of their studies. If their universities do not disclose such ranking, applicants must have scored 80 points or more in at least half of their total credits. (Applicants enrolled in specialized courses at colleges of technology will be judged based on their academic performance upon their completion.)
Eligibility (8) (Master's programs at the Graduate School of Engineering Science of Yokohama National University in October 2026 and April 2027)
Eligibility (8) is acknowledged for applicants who satisfy the following requirements:
[1] At the end of March 2026, applicants must rank in the top 5% in their affiliated departments (or have earned credits with comparable grades) or have obtained at least 80 points in at least ¾ of all earned credits.
[2] As a general rule, applicants claiming eligibility must pass all required courses and earn at least 90 credits by the end of the second year.
